Lab-on-a-Chip

Together with development partners, Bartels microEngineering worked on the project Physiocheck realizing a mobile analysis unit for body fluids. Only the size of an object slide, this Lab-on-a-chip combines numerous functional elements to transport, mix, filter, isolate, incubate and analyze tiny samples of liquids. With this complex microfluidic device, several indicators can be tested simultaneously and made interpretable by visually displayed results.
