The leading provider of development services in active microfluidics, Bartels Mikrotechnik, is presenting a customized micro pumping system at this years MEDTEC. A hand dispenser and a miniaturized pumping module for the generation of negative pressure are presented. The developments are based on the available standard components as the micro pump mp6 and the micro valve mp-cv. Specific adaptations of the electronic pump control based on the application requirements and the integration of further components as flow or pressure sensors demonstrate the flexible applicability of the piezopump platform in innovative medical applications. Furthermore other examples of accomplished developments in the design and realization of complex microfluidic systems, continuous and discontinuous fluid delivery; micro dosing; micro spraying and generation of mist as well as droplet based liquid handling will be exhibited.
