Bartels Microvalves

Microvalves play an important role in the controlled transport of liquids and gases. By opening and closing they give direction to the flow. Bartels microComponents offers several passive dynamic check valves as standard components, each meeting different requirements of pressure and flow. All of these "normally closed" valves are made of plastics and prove stable even under high fluid pressure - they resist up to 10 bar.

There are two basic types of Bartels microvalves, each available in three different versions.

Valve Types

Type 1

- with four soft mountings
- for very fast reactions and short response time even at low pressures
- suitable for liquids and gases

Type 2

Image

- with one hard and one soft mounting
- for full flow control even at very high pressures
- suitable for liquids

Available Standard Versions of These Types

square

2 x 2 x 0,45 mm³ (L x W x H),2 mg

round

2,2 mm x 0,45 mm (Ø x H),2 mg

integrated

integrated into a steel capillary for easy connection to tubings,
2,7 mm x 17 mm (Ø x L  incl. housing,valve alone: see round version)
500 mg

For perfect combination with the standard valves, Bartels microComponents offers microfilters with the same dimensions.

Customized Versions

On request customized versions of both valve types can be produced with different materials or dimensions.
