Bartels Microfilters

Microfilters clear the medium of very small particles and thus most of all serve to protect: They protect other microfluidic components located behind them, the result of a highly sensitive chemical analysis or the user of a drug dosing pump.

Off the shelf Bartels microComponents sells microfilters in dimensions corresponding to those of the Bartels microvalves. By that, a perfect combintion of functional elements is offered. 

Bartels microComponents produces two types of filters differing in their pore sizes and each available in three versions:
 

Filter Types 

Type 1
Pore size: 10 µm width across corners; 8,7 µm width across flats
Type 2
Pore size: 18 µm width across corners; 15,6 µm width across flats

2,2 mm x 0,5 mm (Ø x H), 2 mg
integrated
integrated into a steel capillary for easy connection to tubings, 2,7 mm x 17 mm (Ø x L  incl. housing, filter alone: see round version), 500 mg

The standard microfilters are designed for ideal combination with the Bartels microvalves offered with the same dimensions.

Customized Versions

On request customized versions of both valve types can be produced with different materials or dimensions. 

If you need microfilters with other dimensions or made of other materials, Bartels microComponents will design and produce customized versions of both filter types for you.
